The company is concerned with the growing acceptance of ‘generic’ or ‘no brand’ products being sold by many supermarket chains. Including among the generic products being sold are paper towels, toilet rolls, coffee, pickles, margarine, spaghetti, macaroni and other. The company wants to know if a significant proportion of pasta users are likely to switch to generic pastas. Regarding this situation, assume you are interviewing the people who do most of their shopping.
