You have just been promoted to be the first supervisor of a new department. You have heard through the grapevine that your new staff are apprehensive of who you are and what you may represent as their new supervisor.

Required:

Write a short speech that you will give to the employees (Write it as you are speaking to them). That defines who you are as a supervisor and incorporate the following concepts. Incorporate these themes in your speech to them.

1. What is leadership as you believe it?
2. What is power and will they see it abused in your management of them?

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing great! Well, I hope u must be knowing I'm ur new supervisor. And I am feeling good to be a part of this company and standing with assets like u coz what I believe is that people are the significant Assets for any Company and I believe that u will be treated as an asset for this company forever.

Leadership: in my opinion, a leader is who leads everyone in a team, and always ask his employees and followers to be cooperative with each other, always come with new ideas by being an initiator who always comes forward to take his responsibility with positivity, and I always tries my best to be one of the best examples for you so that u all cud follow me I future and we all as a team could achieve our goals, but before that, I expect u all to achieve the organizational goals and objectives.

Power: well, power is that something which gives a person an authority to take decisions. Well, I will try that my powers should be used for the company welfare, I assure u all that I will not use my powers for my welfare, and I hope u will cooperate with me. I expect u all to form a positive environment in the organization. Because power can be used to talk Strong actions against anyone not performing his duties, which could harm the company image and its goodwill.
