Why is slight level of dissatisfaction a major factor in achieving community development goals?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Community development Goals are critically based on the degree to which the community members support and assist in taking up initiatives and programmes which will lead to its development through working together. And the tendency to which the community members will actively contribute and engage in community development programmes largely and directly depends upon how satisfied they are from its services. The amount of satisfaction from the community service and community activities creates sense of belonging among the people which encourages positive environment fostering growth and development through active contribution. Therefore even a slight level of dissatisfaction will hamper this positive flow of energy and create hurdles in building trust and loyalty among key community members who will not be diligent and serious about various initiatives taken with the attempt to develop a better community. Level of satisfaction is also essential for outlining and fulfilling community development goals as it decides to what extend can the community contribution be expected based on which goals are framed. Therefore slight level of dissatisfaction will hamper the purpose of framing appropriate goals due to lack of assistance and active contribution which will breed doubts and lack of seriousness towards community development measures.
