• To analyze the impact of Locus of Control on Employee Engagement

1. (b) Secondary objectives

• To identify the impact of internal locus of control on employee engagement.
• To identify the impact of external locus of control on employee engagement.
• To find out the level of employee engagement among the respondents.

1(c)Literature Review

According to the words of Ricardo (2019) companies consider the internal locus of control as a crucial component that helps for understanding the behavior of the employees in the organization. Sicilia (2019) stated that internal locus of control helps for understanding major problems or issues faced by the employees and it also helps the companies for providing effective training and development programs. Employees with an internal locus of control are highly helpful for the organization, they help the company for introducing new tools and strategies. They also help in reducing the stress level of the employees. Locus of control also helps the managers for determining the job satisfaction and stress level.

According to the words of Ricardo (2019) companies required wholehearted support of the employees for attaining the goals and objectives. Employees with an internal locus of control always help the company for attaining the stated goals.
