Answer #1

Answer 1) The company which I am going to take is Maruti Suzuki Car company which is a local company of India. The company is said to be the number 1 company in terms of sales, quality of product, customer adaption and market share in India. Maruti Suzuki is having 51% market share in India which just more than half of the market while other big giant companies like Hyundai and others have 7-8% each in Indian continent. So now let’s talk about where this company is lying when it comes to technological adopting.

· Early Majority: The company Maruti Suzuki focuses more on quality of the product rather than brining new and advanced technology to the product because customers in India prefer quality products over new technology but slowly slowly the trend is changing towards technological products. After analyzing all the factors I am keeping Maruti Suzuki in Early Majority stage because the company brings technological advancement to the product late. The company is still not having sunroof in any of their cars. Expected to come in 2021

The next company which I am taking is Tata Car company which is also a local company in India but have few famous names like Range Rover, Jaguar under its ownership. Tata car share has been increasing by a huge margin since last few years because the company has started brining latest technologies in their product that too with superior quality. . So now let’s talk about where this company is lying when it comes to technological adopting.

· Early Adopters: As soon as the technology comes into the market, you will find a Tata car with those specification and technologies after 3-4 months. Tata latest cars like Harrier, Nexon and Altroz are the recent examples of latest advanced cars in India. Tata harrier is the only Indian car which Panaromic Sunroof in India and Tata Nexon is the only Indian made electronic car in India.
