Answer 1) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the agreement of businesses to contribute towards economic development of country by working along with the employees, stakeholder, shareholders, their families, the local community and societies, experts and the society at large in order to enhance the working culture and working environment in a country.

Successful example of CSR activity: Starbucks started the campaign of “helping jump-start careers by giving them their first job” this CSR activity means that Starbucks they will be recruiting new young employees more in order to gain maximum work efficiency and with this country will also receive benefits. Starbucks is looking forward to versatile their employee manpower and provide opportunities for all possible potential employees. By 2025 Starbucks has pledged to hire 25,000 veterans by 2025 as part of their corporate socially responsible efforts and they are currently working of this and they are doing it very successful. Young people from all over the globe are being hired by the company.

Failed example famous company Puma was once found disobeying the rules of corporate socially responsible where a general check in the factory of China was done where the company Puma was found guilty of disobeying the rules and regulations of corporate socially responsible. Employees were forced to work over time that is work for 11 hours, Garbage was seen all around the factory, 80 workers were sharing 1 bathroom and restroom, insects were found in food, chemical smell was so high that it was making workers go sick, unethical waste disposal like glue and paint were dumped into the sewer. All these things are completely against the policy of corporate socially responsibility.
