Operational goals :-

It defines the routine tasks which are run necessarily in an organization. Efficient operations makes it easier for employees to function and excel their skills in their work environment. This makes them to become more productive and thus the organization can become more profitable. This way setting operational goals helps to manage a business efficiently and helps it to grow. Three basic types of organizational goals are strategic, tactical and operational goals.

Operational plans :-

It is a detailed plan which is made based on the operational goals, where it provides a clear picture of the ways to achieve the goals of an organization by the teams and departments. It maps out the day-to-day tasks which are required to run a business such as to plan the strategies for organizational goals, responsibilities for each of the individual employees, the timeline for the tasks completion, resource availability for the goals, etc.
