"A successful manager of the future will be required to be a citizen of the world."

According to me, this means that future leads should be a part of the outside world, not just the environment inside an organization. This is because, they should be aware of the outside environment which can include the market trends, social media trends, competitors’ strategies, new techniques of leading and managing, and many such aspects. A future leader should be well versed with the outside world to deal with people in the right manner, to motivate them properly, and to lead them forward.
