Q: The organisational structure implemented may not be the same structure used throughout life cycle of a project. Why it so and why it is critical to observe timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness.
A: Project managements use a hybrid organisational structure which is a combination of matrix, divisional, and functional to serve different aspects/requirements and different stages of projects in order to be dynamic and proactive, and therefore are always evolving or changing through out the life cycle of a project to meet the needs. It is not just critical but very critical and essential to observe project timelines, quality, and cost effectiveness, in order to remain on track and ensure all the project objectives are met and the funds are utilised for this purpose. If timelines, quality, and cost effectiveness are not adhered to, it can lead to project deviations and ultimately failure and wastage of entire resources including people and financial.
