Answer #1

One of the main reasons for public promotion of transportation is the economic impact that it has on the nation. By stimulating demand for transportation, these economical benefits can be noticed. A few economical benefits of transportation are an enhancement of the economy of an area by increasing the land's value. The increase in transportation calls for improvement in the mode of transports which then reflects the lifestyle of the given population. Any given land's value increases with the transportation elements like a highway near hotels than an area without one.

Since transportation has a huge impact on the economy of any nation, public promotion will only enhance the impact in areas where there is low demand. The other social and economic benefit it brings is the intensive use of infrastructure which is a common tool for development. The increase in transportation also connects places giving access to markets, enhances employment, promotes investments.
