Question 1:
a. Do you think that this topic relates to your life? How? Explain with specific examples.
b. Who would you recommend this lecture to? Why?
answer a and b separate
A) Yes this topic tends to resonate with my life because radical transparency has always helped me in getting what I exactly want. With respect to my workplace it has also helped me in judging the people in a better manner so as to retain relevance and interact with them according to what I know about them. The concept of algorithmic decision-making has, made the business operations and interaction much more meaningful and relevant. For example whenever I have to shop and search for a product with required features, I get many results related to my search which mind boggingly are so relevant to my needs and requirements that sometimes it feels unreal. Everyone would like that attention and kind of personalised experience. Moreover such transparency helps to make the other party understand ones needs better so as to get what exactly a person wants.
B) I would recommend this lecture particularly to those who want to create meaningful relationships with people so that they are served well and are able to fulfill their needs in a much better manner. This lecture will be directed to them to drive out their fear so that those who feel uncertain with radical transparency and algorithm decision making thus over looking to the meaning it can add to their lives. Moreover it will also be relevant for them who want to establish longer term relationships with their clients by understanding them better. Because this will help them to understand the benefits of radical transparency and algorithmic decision-making so that it is used to the maximum potential.
