Defend with examples, why there is a need to change attitude towards methods of communication at all levels of management, considering the COVID-19 situation?
You are the CEO of a company. Your employees believe that you are a very strict person and don’t like to listen to criticism. How will you change this opinion of your employees, considering the most appropriate type and method of communication
The communication methods need to be changed in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak because of the fact that the pandemic has tremendously changed the way in which organizations are functioning. For example, now many of the companies have allowed employees to work from their homes. In such a scenario there are limitations for the application of body language in communication. So companies need to embrace new methods for communicating with their employees at all levels of an organization in the context of the remote working.
As the CEO of a company, I have to make some changes in my communication methods in order to change the opinion of employees that I am as a very strict person and don’t like to listen to criticism. I could do the following things in this regard.
