Procurement in Malaysia
a) Green procurement is a method that increases the service and demand for green products in the market. The main motive behind it is to encourage the usage of green products. In the 11th plan of Malaysia, the government made it mandatory for the country's people to use a maximum of green products, which will protect our environment. There will be less pollution in the country. The government made it clear to big multinational companies and industries to use environmentally friendly products, which will fulfill the standards maintained by the government.
b) Malaysia took part in various events where people have contributed to developing green products, which helps the country grow and become an environmentally friendly country. These kinds of fundraisers from the public and private sectors will help the country develop alternatives using green products, which will reduce the usage of other harmful products, which are easy to use but spoiling the environment from every possible area. This step of the Malaysian government is a significant step to increase the usage of environmentally friendly products. Every country should use this idea to help the environment remain safe and green.
