This will help in enhancing the overall effectiveness of the company in the long run. Wal-Mart has come up with various sustainable interventions. This has facilitated the brand of the company and has enhanced customer attractiveness. However Wal-Mart needs to maintain this practice. For this, the company must incorporate sustainability in its culture and business model. All the busines interventions and decisions must be taken keeping sustainability in priority. The company must also attempt to reduce the carbon footprint of its supply chain. This way, the overall effectiveness as well as profitability of Wal-Mart will increase substantially.
