Why do we need managers or why managers are important in terms of Bangladesh perspective?

Managers are an important part of an organisation and we need them to perform functions such as:

1) Managers supervise and extract work from the subordinates working under them.

2) Managers perform the core functions of planning, organising, staffing and controlling in their respective departments.

3) Managers allocate resources such as manpower, material and other financial resources.

4) Managers act as coordinator and liason agent between his lower level subordinates and his higher ups.

5) Managers maintain industrial harmony and act as disturbance handlers during crisis periods such as strikes, lockdowns etc.

6) Managers help the organisation in accomplishing its goals by breaking down the overal goal into small work targets and getting the work done from staff under him.
