The value of 8 will always be included in any range produced by sensitivity analysis

True / False

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer: False

The allowable increase or decrease associated with the original coefficient of a decision variable in sensitivity analysis tells us the range in which the coefficient of a given decision variable in the objective function may be increased or decreased without changing the optimal solution, where all other data are fixed.

Thus, there is no significance of value of 8 in determination of any of the range produced by sensitivity analysis i.e. range could take any value and it is not strictly bounded of taking value of 8 in its range.

Answer True or False for all statements. The image produced by a convex mirror is always closer to the mirror than it would be in a plane mirror for the same object distance. A virtual image formed by a concave mirror is always enlarged. A concave mirror always forms an enlarged real image of a real object. A convex mirror never forms a real image of a real object. When an object is placed between a concave mirror and its...
