How supply chain is a CSR issue? Also comment on why Environmental critics were skeptical about many of Unilever’s products using palm oil? What is the effect of such products?

Many times supply chain is CSR issues due to redundancy and unethical practices which take place and ambiguity and lack of transparency in supply chains making it vulnerable to CSR issue.

Unilever products using palm pil have caused massive deforestation, displacement of cimmunities, environmental imbalances and ecological disruption and hence environmental critics are skeptic. The negatuve externality using palm oil products is detrimental to hukans amd can cause unsustainability to mass comnunities and potential instability of lives.
