Wal-mart Stores Inc is one of the oldest and fastest-growing retail organizations in the USA. It has earned a revenue of $523.964 billion in the previous fiscal year with the help of its 2.2 million employees. However, the company has been reportedly alleged for not providing actual wage and working environment in the organization for which the employees went for strikes several times from past few years.
Recently, the first-ever walkouts have been done by the employees of Wal-mart warehouses, which can be taken as an example. Since then, the strike spread like a forest fire in 2012. More than 1000 protesters across all the states of the country came out for strike to protest against the workplace mismanagement, poor wage structure, and lack of workplace benefits. The strike lasted for a long time and ended up in a negotiation between the wall-mart management, and representatives of protesters.
Another strike in the company can be taken as an example when the employees of Walmart went for a small strike to increase workplace security, and wage standard in 2014.
