  • One grill cooks 12 burgers every 10 minutes.
  • One fryer cooks 8 orders of fries in 6 minutes.
  • One soft drink machine dispenses 1,200 oz. per hour.

Total No. of customers an hour = 300

No. of Burgers an hour ordered = 4 * 300 = 1200 burgers an hour

No. of french fries per hour = 2 * 300 = 600 orders

Amount of Drinks ordered per hour = 4 * 12 * 300 = 14400

Capacity of grill per hour = (12 burgers / 10 minutes) * 60 minutes = 72 burgers an hour

No. of grills required = No. of Burgers ordered per hour / Capacity of grill per hour = 1200 / 72 = 16.67 = 17 grills

Capacity of fryer per hour = (8 orders / 6 minutes) * 60 minutes = 80 order per hour

No. of fryers required = No. of french fries per hour / Capacity of fryer per hour = 600 / 80 = 7.5 fryers = 8 fryers

Capacity of soft drink machine = 1200 oz per hour

No of Soft drink machine required =  Amount of Drinks ordered per hour / Capacity of soft drink machine = 14400 / 1200 = 12 machine

Hence, Management should order 17 burger grills, 8 fry machines, and 12 soft drink dispensers.
