Answer: The population diversity will be a major factor in the 21st century that will change and affect the parks and recreation. The population diversity is rapidly changing across the nations. The people from different cultural, racial, religious and national back ground are moving across their national boarders in search of better opportunities created by globalization. This movement is changing the composition of the population in various regions of the World. The parks and recreation industry has a cultural influence and the people from diverse backgrounds have different types of recreational needs. Therefore the parks and recreational companies need to develop their products and service that can entertain a wide range of culturally diverse customers. This means that they will require more recreational products and services that suit the needs of a diverse and fragmented customer base. They will require more resources, knowledge and efforts to do so. They will need to create entertainment products that have a mass appeal to the wide variety of people. They will have to customize and develop their offerings as per the new cultural mix in their region.
