The ignorance of law is not a defence when dealing with state blue sky laws. This is due to the fact that when security is concerned. There is a requirement by the individuals to have to perform their best and understand the consequences and the effects of every action. Therefore, pleading ignorance is no excuse as far as matters of this level of importance needs to be considered.
