Homework Answers

Answer #1

Trade-offs are usually includes that segment of consumer that we will not be able to serve. In the scienerio where my group has decided to start a regional chain of yogurt shops. In order to achieve the brand position, the trade-offs that I am willing to make are as follows:

  • Inability to serve those consumers that prefer localized store environment rather than centralized.
  • Incapability to attract those consumers who prefer beverages over yogurt.
  • Inability to service consumers who are lactose intolerant.
  • Inability to service consumers who fall apart from our pricing bracket.

Although our trade-off will give opportunity to competitors. They can establish their business in this segment. But in order to position our brand strategic trade-off is important.
