Some of the roles which the government has already playing in ensuring that consumers have easy access to relevant product information is that it has instructed companies to put do proper labeling along with ingredients being used, in case of food items and respective manufacturing and expiry date as well. In case of other products, it is mandatory for companies to clearly mention the way to use the product. To accomplish it, the government has made laws to penalize companies who would not follow these guidelines.
