Yes, With skilled workers and professionals, things are not as easy. With skilled workers and professionals, things are not as easy. When you have a group of people who are highly skilled in their own field, there are their own ways to tackle and solve a problem. Here rise the conflict other issues. Some of the issues and barriers are:

1.Expensive :

Skilled workers and professionals are expensive as compared to other. Some time for some work you don’t require a professional rather than a person who can simply work.

2. Delayed decisions:

When too many skilled people work together, it is common to have different opinion and view for a simple and small thing. That delays the decision.

3. Retentions:

When you have these special people you have to always look after their silliest demand, as the can leave your organization.

4. Conflict :

The conflict may be positive for the organization but it comes with the loss in many other activities of the organization.

Example :

If a company is planning to start a project which requires 10 people.

1 team leader. 1 supervisor, 8 workers.

Here if we will look for all 10 people to be highly skilled and professional, it will cost more and the problem listed above will occur more frequently. That the reason the team leader and supervisor will be the persons with highly skilled, even the workers just know the things to do.

It nice to have all the person highly skilled and professionals, but not all the time. It’s the situational approach and strategy for the HR team.

But short term, it’s easy for them to add capacity/output by renting new pieces of equipment, i.e. capital. So, for them, labor is fixed in the short...
