Porter's Five Forces analysis for Hypermarkets in Turkey

Barriers to entry-(Low) It is quite low in Turkey because of ease of doing business, standard business law and the vibes of doing business in Turkey. Due to these feasibility entry is quite easy and in this industry one can entered easily.

Bargaining power of suppliers(Low)- In hypermart industry in Turkey, suppliers doesnot have much bargaining power. There are different suppliers and a company can source from anyone. Suppliers do possess less bargaining power in Turkey.

Bargaining power of buyers(High)- Buyers have more bargaining power in hypermart industry. There are various players in this industry so that buyers can choose anyone. Due to multiple players and price differentiation buyers possess higher bargaining power.

Threat of Substitute(High)- There are other channels than hypermart to buy product. One can also visit retail store, small grocery, individual store etc. to purchase. Now people can use online medium to buy products also.Threat of substitute is high in this industry.

Competition/Rivalry(High)- This industry have higher competition among players and they adopt intensive competition to lure customers.
