Most experts believe that an enterprise resource planning system, with all the advantages it offers, also has drawbacks, such as high cost, difficulties in installation, a need for extensive training, and compatibility problem with legacy systems. Recommend some ways to minimize these drawbacks.

While it is true that enterprise resource planning has the above mentioned drawbacks, it is also true that once these drawbacks are solved it will give best results to the company. We have to plan the process with our team and take every one's opinion inorder to get the perfect plan. Previous results must be considered and proper analysis must be done to avoid mistakes. Onsite training can be provided to reduce costs . When all the precautions are properly followed and done by experts installation is not a problem. It is true that we need to invest more for this but the returns we get are much more and it is worth the risk . When we take these precautions and proceed with proper planning we can minimise the drawbacks and get maximum results.
