Answer #1

Its food safety testing and preparations which make purchasing food and beverage supplies from local growers and suppliers so difficult for restaurateurs. Its very difficult for any restaurant to monitor each product on-site. The restaurant has to put all the trust on the supplier. But, being a local farmer or producer, mostly they don’t have that much of quality check for the items they grow. And that’s where the biggest risk for restaurant arises, if there is any food safety problem arises, it can land up the restaurant in a very big problem and even risk it to shutdown completely or partially.
