- Trustable and have better chances to build a rapport

Disadvantages of internal change agents:
- May hold biased views while solving any problem
- May lack certain skills and experience in fulfilling any
task
- May not be able to bring new ideas for the organizational
change
Advantages of external change agents:
- Will bring expertise which are missing currently
- Will have more objective view about the organization and its
problems
- Brings more technical knowledge and skills
Disadvantages of external change agents:
- Might have to pay more to get them
- Would have lesser knowledge about the organization
- Would take longer time to start
