b) I believe that internationally there will be human resource management issues because doing business in a different nation possess it's shortcomings and limitations, therefore the most important issues that I feel present are:
1. Compliance with international law because the law and regulations generally differ based on the countries and hence the issues regarding HR may crop up.
2. Compensation is another aspect because of the difference in economy of the countries that should be standardized and generally employees working as expatriates are paid more because of obbioob reasons.
3. The difference in cultural aspect of the nations is another reason which the HR may have issues handling and therefore they need to think about it amount provisions.
c) No, I feel that there is nothing to be surprised of because expatriates are individuals who are working out of their country for their organization so it is fair if their compensation and remuneration is high. They are already making a lot of adjustments to work for their projects assigned and hence that should be considered while making the compensation.
d) Yes, I have been an expatriate and I feel that the primary reason why an expatriate fail is the difference in work culture and ethics and if these two factors differ a lot then it becomes difficult for an individual to cope with the cahllenges.
I believe that inspite of the difference I have been capable to work and make the project and my stay a successful one because I always focus on adaptability and flexibility and that is what I did in order to be successful.
e) Culture shock is quite a common ohenomenon for employees working as expatriates and I believe that the organization should have taken care of this by educating and informing the employee about the differences and changes that they might exeprience for which they need to be prepared as well. I believe that it is better if employees are helped by proving documents regarding the details about working in that particular country and it would have been better if the organization plan to setup a meeting with an employee who has exeprience of working in the same country mentioned.
