No , i dont agree with this statement , Equal employment opportunity and affirmative action are required in todays evolved organizational climate . Affirmative action does mean that the managers are expected to hire unqualified applicant, but it is a remady to adress the past practice of discrimination . it was mainly design to level the playing field for females, individual with disabilities and minorities. they are both about the fairness. these quotas are not automatic too .implementation of quotas must be ordered from the court, edual employment opportunity also prohibit the discrimination against anyone. it is needed in the current environment. it ensure fair opportunity of hiring, which is compulsory in todays era.
