From a purely legal standpoint, which would be the better choice if you later had to file a lawsuit for damages (e.g. a hospital visit caused by food poisoning)? Answer- From a purely legal standpoint, I would prefer to purchase food from a local store such as Albertsons or Safeway because if there is any issue like hospital visit due to food poisoning, I would be able to take a legal stand against them. Jimmy is the son of my best friend, so it would not be good to spoil personal relationships. I am not related with these local food stores, so it would be easier for me to file a lawsuit if there is any damage rather than taking actions against my best friend's son.
