Answer #1

I am from India. I have a Logistics business and most of the vehicle run on diesel. The fuel is mostly imported in India and after refining distributed throughout the nation. It is imported from Middle East countries. Due to political turmoil in Iraq, the supply from Iran and Saudi Arabia also got hampered as the mode of transport is Sea which was occupied by army of other countries. Thus, it drastically increased price in my country and my business got severely impacted.

The transportation channel that could have been more resilient is the pipeline distribution. In that case, there was no impact of weather or political turmoil. Fuel could have been easily transferred without interrupting supply to India.
