What is the difference between Emotional Intelligence and I.Q?

EQ is emotional quotient. It is the individual ability to identify, gauge, and control the emotions of oneself, of others, and of many people.

This is good in to evaluate the performance of a team leader as people with good EQ makes a good manager or leader

Ex: A good leader can control their anger over anything and can be calm while working or explain things to the team

Whereas IQ is a test which gathered Intelligence of a person after getting he or she through certain tests designed to gauge the IQ

At the workplace, this helps a person in tackling a challenging task. A team member with High IQ Can grasp knowledge more easily
