Job analysis collects information about a job and summarizes them to clearly distinguish from other jobs in the organization. The information about skills, responsibilities, education level etc can be utilized both within the firm as well as outside the firm. Job analysis can be used outside the firm to identify and attract new candidates for the positions in the organization. It can also be used to receive external recommendations on improving the structure of the organization and the job performance. Job analysis can be used within the organization to develop training programs, determine compensation for the employees and identify the career path for the employees.
