1. What has been the role of your own environment in shaping lifestyle patterns? Do you see ways that the opportunities for healthy or unhealthy eating have influenced your diet?
2. Self-selection of people into neighborhoods that match their lifestyles was discussed as one source of bias in neighborhood health research. How have you made decisions about where to live? Do your health-related preferences and resources such as supermarkets factor prominently into your decisions?
The external environment had a key role in shaping our lifestyle pattern.
Our activity level, diet, exercise pattern, physical setup of body are determined by our external environment. Job, cultural norms, relegious practices etc have been included in the environment and they had specific role in changing our lifestyle.
Culture and religious activities can change our sleeping pattern, diet etc. An healthy diet can be made according to our demographic and cultural values. If we are from a high social class diet may be an unhealthy one because of it contain high proteins and jung foods. This will affect our health and lifestyle. For a better health we should shape our lifestyle.
Job or excersie level also had significant role in health. Sedentary lifestyle is not good for health. Peer group involvement also helpful in shaping of lifestyle.
