1. each time the patient passes urine,assess for volume of urine and for ketones as well as proteins in urine
2.-first identify the cause for hypotension
-normal for some patients , so compare with previous readings
-make her lie on left lateral position (to avoid compression of IVC on lying flat)
- due to haemorrhage because of placenta previa , abruptio placenta, if yes have to terminate pregnancy immediately and resuscitate her with blood transfusion if needed
3.- tachycardia
- low blood pressure
- peripheral vasoconstriction with symptoms of cold peripheries,sweating
4.- abruptio placentae
- rupture of uterus
-placentae previa
shock in first stage is always due to haemorrhage
5. less than 20 ml urine output /hour ,about less than 400 to 480 ml urine output per day

- severe pre eclampsia
