Answer #1

Conflict of interest is an important issue among employed physicians because due to the existence of the conflict of interest the physician’s ability to act in the best interests of for example a patient may be affected by having relationships especially financial with other people. An example of a past conflict of interests; when a doctor being a partner in an advanced imaging center ordered the tests of MRI to be done in this center for a patient. This led to legal consequences for breach of laws that restrict or prohibit physicians to have financial partnerships with organizations to which they refer their patients for diagnosis.   .
