Conflicts is inevitable in the society at large.Different approach is used to address the situation. The difference between collaboration and confrontation when managing conflicts is. In collaboration people give different views on a problem ,base on their insight and the result can be a strong commitment to the solution . This happens to be the best approach to conflicts. While Confrontation is the act of challenging another most especially face-to-face. Collaboration usually produce better outcome in managing conflicts because the people work together to produce something.while Confrontation is argumentative in nature which may not yield to a better conclusion most of the times.
