I need a response to the statement below. Please in your own words how would you respnd? Any input, add-ons or any questions?
Everyone has the right to live a healthy life. When it comes to healthcare sector the decisions are made on the basis of priority, importance ,ethically and legally when compared morally.A moral right can stand strong only when the person demanding for an organ transplant is in the priority or can be benefited out of it.For instance if a person fights for moral rights when there is high chances of failure and rejection said by the providers, if not understood and accepted, can lead only to pain and loss to the patient. Hence it has to be considered ethically.
Similarly when a patient is listed at last, has high survival rate has a full moral right to obtain the transplant ,supposing The availability ofvtge needed organ.
The following way can be chosen when there are shortage of organs for donation
The basic principle of organ donation is to save life. Whether its children ot adult its all about prioritizing the patient with high survival rate. Suppose a child with a history of rejection is in primary waiting list for kidney transplant but there is another patient who have more compatibility of organ is second to child in waiting list.in this scenario the patient with high survival rate should be transplanted.
Every organ is important for life. Only performing corneal transplant is not a solution for organ shortage.
