Scenario 3 - Homicidal Rage In a mental health agency, you have been working with a male client who has a history, when angered, of becoming violent and abusive. He has been under extreme pressure related to a separation from his wife. In session today, he is extremely angry, clenching his fists as he tells you that he heard his wife has initiated divorce proceedings and plans to move to another state. “If this is true,” he loudly protests,” “she is doing it to take the kids away from me, and I’ll kill her rather than let her do that.” Based on the scenario write a role play between the social worker and angry husband and show how you will handle this scenario.
