Homework Answers

Answer #1

Disability is caused by the way society is organized, rather than a person's impairment or difference. When barriers are removed disabled people can be independent and equal in the society, with choice and control over their lives.we believe that the problem is not in the person and their impairment, but in the social and attitudinal barriers.Models of disability are essentially devices by people on other people. They provide an insight into the attitudes, cconceptions, and prejudices of the former.
