Changing over living arrangements and caregiving patterns appear as responses to change in the spheres of life. Certain demographic datas ilke mortality, morbidity, fertility, and migration has an impact on family size and household structure, and these trends interact with changing gender roles , increased education and emplyment opportunities. For example in developing countries, it is assumed that the preferred living arrangements for older people is co-residence with their children.
