Negligence is conduct that falls below standard of care.It can include acts of commission and acts of omission and it will affect the life of the client.Examples of negligence acts are :medication error that results in injury to the client ,intravenous error and so on. The intentional tort is a legal wrong committed by one person aganist or property of another.The injured person may suit for damages and if the suit is successful the client may awarded money to be paid by other .For example assault and battery are considered criminal offenses as well as torts.Nurses have sometimes been involved in suit for assault and batterybecause of the restriants on patients.It is important to remember that,except in emergencies restiants should not be usedunless they are ordered by physican.The law protects every individual aganist bodily harm byanother person and also aganist any form of assault .
