By using proportion,

Therefore 1.67m2 requires 225*1.67=375.75 mg

Step 3:Calculation of ml to be taken for IV administration

Strength of vial= 5mg/ml

Required dose=375.75mg

Therefore ml to be withdrawn =375.75/5=75.15 ml
