It includes direct skin to skin contact of baby with mother

It has various benefits like:-

Maintenance of temperature of baby (prevents hypothermia)

Builds mother and child bond.

It helps in maintanance of physiological factors of baby like heart rate, baby's breathing pattern, O2 saturation.

Another most important fcator includes exclusive breastfeeding of newborn, as it is a whole food for the baby, and it comprises of all the essential elements or necessities of baby which he/she requires during initial period of life.
