Diuresis is a condition in which the kidneys filter too much bodily fluid. That increases your urine production andtcause frequent urination.

Diuresis can be caused by different conditions such as diet,cool temperatures,certain medications, hyperkalemia etc.

In acute renal failure edema will be there due to excess body fluid.So to reduce edema diuresis can be induced by using furosemide like Lasix,normal saline injection etc.

Due diuresis hyperkalemia may occur so that to reduce potassium level kayexalate tablets can be used.
