Indication of diagnostic procedure for preeclamsia- the patient with high bp,persistant headache
- swelling in hands and face
-sudden weight gain
-change in the vision.
Iterpretation of findings- for the mother, screening for weight gain, edema, cardiomyopathy, resting blood pressure. And for the fetus, CTG should be done, fetal USG with dlopper velocimetry of the umbilical, cerebral, uterine arteries and estemation weight of fetus.
And laboratory test included, complete blood count, blood smear to test for schistocytes, s. Billirubin,alanine transminasein order to identify potential HELPP syndrome ,s. electrolytes.,urea,s.creatinine and 24hr proteinurea etc.
