Alcohol withdrawal occurs in a person, when they stop using alcohol after a period of heavy consumption of drinking leads to the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, these symptoms varies in different levels of severity. Some symptoms are headaches, nausea, tremors, anxiety, hallucinations and seizures etc.

This condition needs to be treated with medical treatment and hospital admission, even some cases medications are required to treat physical symptoms.
