1-When the glucose level fall below 200-250mg/dL ,intravenous insulin drip is tapered and fluids switched to dextrose containg solution to prevent hypoglycemia.

2-Insulin adminstraion is important is the treatment of DKA because it promotes glucose utilizataion by peripheral tissue,diminishes glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis and supressess ketogenesis.Intial bolus of regular insulin is given.

3-It can be done by using a CGM continues glucose monitor.These devise are placed on the skin with an adhesive.
