How do nursing/research theories support personal transition from RN to APRN, “Theory of Transitions”
Do these research theories support the changes to patient care at the VA? If so, how? If not, then what theory does support the change to an interprofessional team?
Factors such as staff training and development, proffessional relationships,perceived level of support,proffessional accountability and commitment,welfare services,and nursing staff shortage contributes to nurses preparation for transition.According to transition theory,all transitions in life whether positive or negative,and planned or unplanned,and produce stress and individual cope with the transition various ways.Transition is a continuous process and it has no end.In nursing field,it is not fully applicable,individuals have transition but it has end.No more promotion d are there in nursing field.In Virginia Henderson need theory,the focus is on individual care,that is assisting individual with essential activities to maintain health.
